View Info

In this inspiring and galvanizing presentation, journalist Sarah DiGregorio will illuminate the many ways that nursing has been key to the flourishing of human societies, from antiquity to the present. It will include stories of nurses who have used their unique insight and expertise to tackle some of the biggest problems of their time. And it will elucidate how nurses, because they work in relationship with people, are often perfectly situated to notice causes of suffering in individuals and communities, and then to act to alleviate that suffering.
