2022 CNC CNL RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM PRE-CONFERENCE
The description should read: CNC's 2022 Virtual Clinical Nurse Leader Research Symposium - The CNL Role: Imperative During a Public Crisis is the pre-conference workshop to the CNL Summit. This is the 11th year of the symposium and this year’s program focuses on the impact that Clinical Nurse Leaders have made at healthcare facilities, provides outcomes of CNL work, and showcases evidence-based projects by CNLs.

CNC's Virtual 2021 CNL Research Symposium: Back to Basics! How CNLs Evaluate and Apply Research is a pre-conference workshop to the CNL Summit that focuses on research around the Clinical Nurse Leader and outcomes. This will be our 10th year of the symposium which unites faculty, practicing CNLs, students, healthcare administrators, nurse executives, physicians, financial officers and others. Participants will also earn CE hours.

This national forum features diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) leaders who offer valuable guidance for schools transitioning from awareness to action in preparing students to provide equitable healthcare in an ever-changing landscape.

Emphasis is being placed on the need for assessing and carrying out a comprehensive process for preparing a more diverse nursing workforce to provide high-quality care, which is critical to addressing healthcare disparities and health inequities.
2021 AACN Advancing Nursing Workforce Diversity Impact Summit
Explore evidence-based strategies for increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion in schools of nursing from faculty and nurse leaders as they describe the impact and learned outcomes following the implementation of a 4-year grant funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). Thirty-two unique nursing schools will describe the opportunities, challenges, and benefits of implementing holistic admissions review process, academic innovations, and a climate and culture assessment of their learning environments.

2020 AACN Fall Faculty Forum
AACN’s Fall Faculty Forum connects nursing faculty with thought leaders to explore the disruption and innovation occurring in nursing education. Sessions focus on a variety of topics related to AACN’s work on re-envisioning the Essentials. In addition to generous networking opportunities, attendees are invited to submit and review virtual poster abstracts, which showcase the use of technology, digitally innovative learning and teaching strategies, and competency-based assessment methods currently in use that will facilitate the transition to the new Essentials.
