Holistic Admissions Process: An Initiative to Increase Diversity in the College of Nursing

Pamela Cook, DNP, RN, NE-BC, serves the CON as the Interim Academic and Student Affairs Associate Dean, and Professor in the College of Nursing and The Graduate School. In her role she oversees recruitment, enrollment, registration, orientation, grading and development, curriculum development, evaluation of new academic programs, and manages all student issues and concerns. She has served as PI of seven HRSA grants and Co-Investigator for additional HRSA grants. She has been a diversity champion within the College and University serving on multiple committees and assisting with implementing many diversity strategic initiatives such as the holistic admissions process.
