Professional Mentors: More Than Just Role Models, We are Family!

Derrick has had a rich career in higher education, focusing on access and equity issues in education. He has worked with youth in high school, college, and graduate school to ensure they successfully obtain their degree. Currently, he serves as the Program Coordinator for the Pathways to Nursing Success Program at Trocaire College. Derrick provides numerous services to the scholars that he serves, such as academic support, financial literacy, career counseling, and graduate school preparation.

Derrick earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rowan University and completed his MEd in Higher Education Administration at The University of Massachusetts Amherst.
