Biography
My clinical areas of interest are individuals with a urinary or fecal diversion and those with chronic wounds. I have been involved in research and evidence-based, quality improvement projects focused on this population and have spoken at local, regional, and national conferences.
Additional areas of interest include nursing education. Research into creation of a diverse, competent, and professional workforce is needed to allow nursing to meet the needs of the people it serves. I have served as PI for multiple HRSA Work Force Diversity grants all designed to increase the representation of URM in the nursing workforce.
