The Impact of Empower Success on Academic Success at Bronson School of Nursing

Dr. Yvonne Ford earned BSN, MS, and PhD degrees in nursing from the University of Michigan School of Nursing. Her clinical background is in perioperative nursing and nursing management. Dr. Ford has been on the faculty of the Bronson School of Nursing since 2009. She served as Undergraduate Program Coordinator from 2014 – 2019. Dr. Ford also served on the team that wrote the HRSA funded Empowering Nursing Students for Success (Empower Success) in 2017. She assumed the role of Program Director for Empower Success in Fall 2019 upon the retirement of the founding Program Director.
