VirtuEd provides immersive virtual reality scenarios specifically for nursing students. Born out of research done at Johns Hopkins University, these VR scenarios help students gain knowledge and critical thinking skills--which are emphasized on the next generation NCLEX.

Though simulation labs are a proven way for students to learn, they often lack accessibility and opportunities for repetitive practice. Students who have used VirtuEd scenarios have increased knowledge gains compared to simulation lab, and reports of self-satisfaction and confidence in learning. Additionally, students were able to count the immersive scenarios as clinical time, which is especially important in uncertain times like the pandemic. Students are able to experience the VR content in many different ways and formats, even from the comfort of their own living spaces, ensuring repetitive practice.
