The delivery of quality and safe care is complex, especially during a crisis. The current pandemic has required all staff to collaborate, encourage, and lead to sustain the well-being of individuals, families, and communities. The CNL is educated to lead with purpose during a crisis and is the catalyst for sustainable change and improvement. As CNOs, the value of a CNL cannot be underestimated. The knowledge and skills inherent in a CNL curriculum position them to lead, use evidence, and continuously achieve excellence. During this panel discussion, CNOs will share their experiences that validate the value of CNLs, how they have led with purpose and direction and how they envision using CNLs in the future.
