Building a Stronger Business Model at Your School of Nursing

Explore new ways for building a budget and adapting the financial model used at your school of nursing. This interactive session will guide participants through the fundamentals of an institutional budget, the challenges senior leaders are facing, the realities of net revenue, ways to assess a program?s financial sustainability, and strategies to execute in challenging budgeting times. Participants will discuss their role in working with university administrators and identify ways to articulate how their enrollment links to their department and overall institutional budget. The session will conclude with some purposeful actions that will lead to ongoing improvements and preferred outcomes.
