Dr. Lydia Albuquerque is a graduate from college of Nursing, Armed Forces medical college Pune (1983) and completed her Master in Nursing from Leelabai Thackersey, College of Nursing (LTCON), Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey (SNDT) Women's University, Mumbai ( 1989). Dr. Albuquerque served as a faculty at College of Nursing, Armed Forces Medical College, Pune for close to a decade. In 1997, Dr. Albuquerque, took premature retirement from the military nursing service and continued her nursing career at College of Nursing, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed university, Pune. In 2004, Dr. Albuquerque migrated to the United States, where she graduated with her Post Master of science in Nursing, Acute-care Nurse Practitioner from Rutgers University, New Jersey (NJ)and Doctor of Nursing Practice ( 2012) from William Paterson University, New Jersey( 2018). Currently Dr. Albuquerque serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nursing at William Paterson University.
