There have been many changes in knowledge development and research practices in the past decade since the publication of the 2010 PhD programs Pathway to Excellence. This presentation will review the recommendations for PhD Related to the composition and requisite expertise of the faculty, and curriculum approaches that will prepare students for the future. Participants will be asked to share innovative approaches in their own programs taken to prepare PhD nurse scientists for the future.
